The second teaser promotional video and the opening theme song for the upcoming TV anime “Young Ladies Don’t Play Fighting Games“, based on the original work by Eri Ejima, have been officially revealed. The series is scheduled to premiere on July 7, 2026.
The new teaser PV also previews the opening theme song titled “Inochi Mijikashi Taisuru Otomeyo”, performed by the all-girl rock band HANABIE, with the track being released for the first time.
A new cast member has also been announced: Aru, an active esports play-by-play commentator, will voice Flamberge, a well-known announcer who provides live commentary at official fighting game tournaments.
In addition, the anime will continue its presence at the fighting game event EVO Japan 2026, which begins today and runs for three days starting May 1. A special booth featuring an exclusive photo spot will be available for visitors.
