The World’s Strongest Witch Gets TV Anime in October 2026

Joji Furuta directs the anime at studios Bridge and Aisle.

Mochimaru Sakaki‘s novel The World’s Strongest Witch has been officially announced for a TV anime adaptation, scheduled to begin broadcasting in October 2026. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual and a special promotional video have been released.

Originally, Mochimaru Sakaki self-published The World’s Strongest Witch on Shosetsuka ni Naro in May 2022 before it was later acquired for print publication by Square Enix. The series has since released five volumes under the SQEX Novel label, featuring illustrations by riritto.

A manga adaptation illustrated by Tamaki Toga is also currently ongoing. In English, the light novel is published by Yen Press, which provides an official description of the story:

When Lorna manifests a completely useless ability, she’s labeled an embarrassment to her family and kicked out of the house. With no money or food, she’s about to hit rock bottom. But then, she figures out how to use her supposedly worthless SSS-Rank skill, “Internet.” This cheat-level talent gives her the know-how to gather an unlimited amount of valuable items and easily acquire rare equipment. Armed with godlike knowledge, Lorna’s free to do anything she wants! If only she could figure out what “lmfao” means…
