Dinners with My Darling: How the Former Monster King Ate Her Way to Happiness Gets Anime Adaptation

An anime adaptation of “Dinners with My Darling: How the Former Monster King Ate Her Way to Happiness” by Mugi Mameda is currently in development.

To celebrate the release of the new volume, large visual advertisements will be displayed in Shibuya and Ikebukuro in Tokyo, as well as Namba in Osaka. In addition, select bookstores will offer exclusive double-sided illustration cards featuring newly drawn manga artwork.

Mugi Mameta originally self-published Dinners with My Darling: How the Former Monster King Ate Her Way to Happiness on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in April 2022. The series was later acquired by Futabasha for print publication.

Since October 2022, seven illustrated volumes by Nagisa Hanazome have been released under the M Novels f label. A manga adaptation illustrated by Toi Ishino is also ongoing, and the series has reached around 1.8 million copies in circulation.
