NIPPON SANGOKU Anime to Premiere April 5 Exclusively on Prime Video

Prime Video announced a new anime series called “NIPPON SANGOKU The Three Nations of the Crimson Sun”. The anime will premiere on April 5. New episodes will be released every week. The series will be available in more than 240 countries and territories. Outside of Japan, it will stream exclusively on Prime Video.

The anime simultaneously released new cast information, its main visual, opening theme details, and a second preview video.

The opening theme has been set as“Hidane” performed by Tatsuya Kitani.

The original manga is serialized on Shogakukan’s Manga One app and the Ura Sunday website. The series has surpassed 700,000 copies in cumulative circulation.

Twin Engine describes the anime as follows:

In a near-future Japan where civilization has regressed due to nuclear war, natural disasters, and corrupt governance. The nation fractures into three, plunging into a new Three Kingdoms era as each vies for supremacy. Aoteru Misumi, once an obscure local bureaucrat, sets his sights on the reunification of Japan.
