Japanese Vocaloid producers SatapanP, picco and Yasei Yoshida will appear as special guests at Anime Festival Asia Bangkok 2026 on May 30 and 31 in Bangkok.
The three artists will perform DJ sets on the “niconico LIVE Stage”, a special music stage presented by Dwango in collaboration with SOZO. The project is part of the “Asia Creators Cross” initiative, which supports cultural exchange between Japanese creators and Asian audiences.
Known for their unique Vocaloid styles, the artists continue to gain attention in the digital music scene. SatapanP mixes multiple genres into energetic and unpredictable tracks, while picco is recognized for her colorful “Hyper Kawaii Music” sound. Yasei Yoshida, also known as Yoruyo, combines Vocaloid music with club-inspired performances.
In addition to the niconico LIVE Stage, picco will perform on AFA Thailand’s NEXT Stage on May 30, while SatapanP will appear on May 31.
The event will also feature “Cho-BON Dance Japan powered by Dwango“, an interactive dance project inspired by Japan’s Niconico Chokaigi festival. Visitors will be able to dance together to anime songs and Vocaloid music during the event.
AFA Bangkok is one of Southeast Asia’s biggest festivals dedicated to anime, music and Japanese pop culture, attracting fans from across the region.
