Claymore Live-Action TV Series in Development

Crunchyroll currently streams the series.

CBS Studios and Propagate Content, in collaboration with actor and manga enthusiast Masi Oka, are developing a live-action TV series of the dark fantasy manga Claymore in partnership with Shueisha.

Cover vol.1:

The live-action series adaptation seeks to maintain the intense action and intricate moral conflicts of the original manga and anime. Claymore was previously adapted into a 26-episode anime series in 2007, directed by Hiroyuki Tanaka and produced by Madhouse, and has been available on Crunchyroll.

The manga initially ran in Monthly Shonen Jump from 2001 until 2007, after which it moved to Jump Square, where it continued until its conclusion in 2014.
