A new special battle trailer, for Mononoke the Movie: The Ashes of Rage has been released. This film is the second installment in the Mononoke anime movie trilogy and is set to premiere in Japan on March 14, 2025.

The Mononoke film was revealed during the 15th-anniversary event for the 2007 Mononoke series in June 2022, with an initial aim for release in 2023. Mononoke originates as a spin-off from the 2006 series Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales.
