The first film concert for Saga of Tanya the Evil will celebrate the anime’s 10th anniversary with two performances on March 20, 2027, at Ota Civic Hall Aprico in Tokyo. Kadokawa is organizing the event, which will look back at the franchise through footage from its two TV seasons and feature film.
A live ensemble will perform music from the series and its theme songs as scenes play on a large screen. Cast members are also scheduled to perform live voice acting during the concert. Each performance is expected to run 90 to 120 minutes, with some staging elements varying between the afternoon and evening shows. The performances are scheduled to begin at 2:15 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time.
The announced guests include Aoi Yūki, who voices Tanya; Yūsuke Kobayashi, who voices Grantz; Daiki Hamano, who voices Weiss; and Haruka Tomatsu, who voices Mary Sue. Composer Shuji Katayama of Team-MAX is also listed, alongside musical group MYTH & ROID.
The concert looks back on a decade of the anime, which premiered in 2017. Its program will include footage and music from the first season, the 2019 feature film and the second season, which began airing in July 2026.
Advance ticket lotteries are underway. The first runs through Oct. 4, with a second scheduled for Oct. 16-25. Prices range from 9,900 yen for a standard A seat to 16,500 yen for an S seat with merchandise.
