Fuyu Azuma’s Inexpressive Kashiwada and Expressive Oota is set to receive a TV anime adaptation in 2025. Alongside the announcement, the production team has unveiled the main cast, staff, a “spring” visual, and the first promotional video.

Inexpressive Kashiwada and Expressive Oota is a heartwarming romantic comedy about Kashiwada, a junior high school girl whose facial expressions remain unchanged no matter the situation, and Oota, her male classmate whose emotions are always written on his face. The series is currently published by KADOKAWA’s Dragon Comics Age, with 10 volumes available, and also has an English-language serialization.
