CTW Cayman has announced that its subsidiary, CTW Inc. (Tokyo), will officially launch a new browser game, HIGH SCHOOL OF THE DEAD DAY 0, on April 28, 2026.
Inspired by the popular anime HIGH SCHOOL OF THE DEAD, the game is a roguelike tower defense where players fight to survive in a world overrun by “Them”. Players take on the role of Takashi Komuro and build a team to face increasingly difficult battles. Each playthrough offers different strategies thanks to its roguelike elements.

The game features simple controls but requires strategic decisions that can impact the outcome of each battle. Players can unlock and train allies without needing to spend money, allowing for flexible team building.

HIGH SCHOOL OF THE DEAD DAY 0 will be playable directly on web browsers across smartphones, tablets, and PCs, with no download required. Pre-registration is currently open.
What is the TV anime “HIGH SCHOOL OF THE DEAD”?:
An anime adaptation of the popular manga by Daisuke Sato,Shouji Sato. Fujimi High School has been turned into a crucible of hell by intruders – “Them”! They attacked, ate and infected people throughout the school. In the school that has become a living hell, Takashi Komuro, his childhood friend Rei Miyamoto, and his best friend Hisashi Igou take refuge. However, Hisashi got bitten by “Them” while protecting Rei, and turns into one of “Them”… The remaining two survivors join up with their classmates: Saya Takagi, Kota Hirano, the kendo club leader Saeko Busujima, and the school doctor Shizuka Marikawa. They are determined to escape the school! Is there any way for them to survive?
