The second main promotional video for Saga of Tanya the Evil Season 2 has been released, offering a new look at the highly anticipated sequel ahead of its premiere. The series will stream worldwide on Crunchyroll starting July 8.
It was also confirmed that MYTH & ROID will perform the opening theme, “Why? RED induction,” while the ending theme, “Weiter! Weiter!,” will be performed by Tanya Degurechaff, voiced by Aoi Yuki. Preview audio for both theme songs can now be heard in the newly released trailer.

The novel Saga of Tanya the Evil was published in 2013, and the 12th novel was published on February 20, 2020. The manga was published on Monthly Comp Ace in 2016, and Kadokawa published the manga’s 20th volume on December 26. The TV anime adaptation premiered in January 2017.
The series also has an anime film coming out in February 2019. Crunchyroll live-streamed the series. Yen Press licensed both the manga and light novels and describes the series as:
High above the blood- and mud-soaked trenches, a young girl pits herself against army mages in high stakes aerial duels with bullets, spells, and bayonets. Her name is Tanya Degurechaff and she is the Devil of the Rhine, one of the greatest soldiers the Empire has ever seen!
