NARUTO: SHADOW RISING:
Meanwhile, a new four-episode anime collaboration between NARUTO and NINKU is also in production. The project was inspired by Masashi Kishimoto‘s wish to see a continuation of NINKU, a manga created by Koji Kiriyama. With Kiriyama‘s permission, the new anime project was made possible.
Kishimoto shared his excitement about the collaboration, saying, “Without NINKU, NARUTO would not exist. I wanted to see a continuation of NINKU, so I drew NARUTO. My dream has come true”.
