The official title of director Shingo Natsume‘s first original theatrical anime has been revealed as ghost – end of night, replacing its previous working title, GHOST. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japan on February 11, 2027.
Alongside the announcement, the production unveiled its first key visual, confirmed the music staff, and released a “super teaser” trailer.
The theme and insert songs were composed by Hitsujibungaku, while the original score was created by Ohzora Kimishima. In total, Hitsujibungaku contributed six songs to the project, including the theme song and the insert track “Sugar”.
Kimishima‘s entire score was crafted using a cinematic film-scoring approach, creating music that deeply complements the story’s world.
