In the Clear Moonlit Dusk Adds Yuki Yoda and Naohito Fujiki to Live-Action Film Cast

Additional cast members have been announced for the live-action adaptation of In the Clear Moonlit Dusk, based on the manga by Mika Yamamori. Yuki Yoda and Naohito Fujiki have joined the film’s cast ahead of its theatrical release in Japan on October 23.

The film will be directed by Kentaro Takemura, known for the live-action drama series TRILLION GAME. The screenplay is written by Yuichi Tokunaga, who previously worked on the live-action adaptation of Cells at Work!.

The original manga is currently serialized in Dessert, published by Kodansha. It ranked first at the 2023 ebookjapan Manga Awards and received the Grand Prize at the 2nd Minna no Oshi Romance Manga Awards. The series has surpassed 7.5 million copies in cumulative circulation worldwide. Since January, its TV anime adaptation has been airing across Japan on all 28 stations of TBS.
