The upcoming anime anthology film GROTESQQQUE has released two collaboration visuals featuring characters from Darling in the FRANXX. The visuals were shared on the official social media accounts of the Studio TRIGGER anime series ahead of the film’s November 6 release.
The first visual was created by Atsushi Nishigori, who directed Darling in the FRANXX and serves as overall director for GROTESQQQUE. It also highlights Kana Ichinose, who voiced Ichigo in Darling in the FRANXX and Elie in GROTESQQQUE.

The second visual features Zero Two alongside the heroine of 4649GIRL from GROTESQQQUE. Masayoshi Tanaka, chief animation director of Darling in the FRANXX, also works as an animation director on this segment of GROTESQQQUE.

The film is structured as an anthology composed of three distinct stories: ÆLIENS, in which an alien girl teams up with a public servant at the Space Bureau in search of “friends”. 4649GIRL, a frenetic battle royale where girls compete to become the winner of a game called “4649GIRL”; and NOCTURNE: NUIT GROTESQUE, which follows three girls surviving in a devastated world after being infected through a vampire bite.
