The second teaser PV for Chainsaw Man – Assassins Arc, based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s original manga, has been officially released.
Chainsaw Man – Assassins Arc serves as a sequel to the film Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc. The newly released teaser, unveiled during the “MAPPA 15th Anniversary Lineup Presentation“, shows various assassins from around the world beginning their pursuit of Denji, alongside the introduction of several new characters.

During the event, a new Chainsaw Man smartphone game project was also announced. A promotional opening movie produced by MAPPA was revealed, featuring the opening theme song by Maximum the Hormone, titled “ALL THE LYNCH!! ALL THE MINCE!!”. The track is prominently featured in the opening video.

“Chainsaw Man” is a manga serialized in Shueisha’s “Shonen Jump+” that has sold over 30,000,000 copies. In 2022, the series was broadcast as a TV Anime series that was made by animation studio MAPPA (Notable works: “JUJUTSU KAISEN”, “Attack on Titan Final Season”, etc.), creating buzz all over the world. Now in 2025, the episode that made the world go wild during its serialization is coming to theaters as an animated movie!
STORY:
Denji (Kikunosuke Toya) became “Chainsaw Man”, a boy with a devil’s heart, and is now part of Special Division 4’s devil hunters. After a date with Makima (Tomori Kusunoki), the woman of his dreams, Denji takes shelter from the rain and meets a girl called Reze (Reina Ueda). The girl, who works at a nearby café, gives him a gentle smile, and they quickly grow close. From this encounter onward, Denji’s everyday life begins to change.
The first season of Chainsaw Man was a huge success, with memorable characters and a unique aesthetic. VIZ Media releases the manga in English, Crunchyroll describes the series as such:
Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita.
One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man” — a man with a devil’s heart.
