The live-action film Kowloon Generic Romance is set to hit theaters in Japan this August. Alongside the release date announcement, a special preview video and a teaser visual have been unveiled. Riho Yoshioka stars as Reiko, while Koji Mizukami takes on the role of Kudo.
The movie was filmed on location in Taiwan, which closely resembles the cityscape of Kowloon. The teaser visual was also captured during the shoot in Taiwan.

The anime series Kowloon Generic Romance is set to premiere on April 5 and will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll. The TV anime has been confirmed to run for 13 episodes, concluding its story within a single season.
