The TV anime “Majutsu wo Kiwamete Tabi ni Deta Tensei Elf, Moteamashita Jumyo de Ikeru Densetsu to Naru“, based on the manga by Monsho Sakakibara and Kanco, is set to premiere in January 2027. The opening footage from Episode 1 has also been released.

Originally written by Monsho Sakakibara as a web novel, the fantasy story was later published as a light novel by Grast Novels in 2022 with illustrations by Hatori Kyoka. The manga adaptation by kanco has been serialized through Grast Comics since 2023.
The story follows a man who dies in a sudden accident after living an ordinary life. He is then reincarnated as an elf with a lifespan of 1,000 years and sets out on a journey to master magic.
