The TV anime The Detective Is Already Dead Season 2 will premiere on October 7. New cast members Akari Komiyama and Nobuhiko Okamoto have been announced, along with the opening and ending theme songs. The anime’s third PV has also been released.
The opening theme is “Kono Shinzo ni Hanataba wo” by Koume, while the ending theme is “Hakuchumu” by Kagura Nana. The third PV also features previews of both songs.

The first season of The Detective Is Already Dead aired from July to September 2021 and was adapted from the mystery light novel series written by Nigoju and illustrated by Umibozu.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime’s first season and describes the story as such:
After thwarting a hijacking with beautiful, silver-haired detective Siesta, Kimihiko leads a life of globe-trotting and crime-solving—until Siesta dies. A year later, a new case will open old wounds as it threads murder, conspiracy, and his dead partner!
