The anime Romelia War Chronicle will air in 2026 as a split two-cour series. The announcement was made during AnimeJapan 2026 at the PONY CANYON booth, where a new teaser visual and additional cast members were revealed. New cast includes Yuya Hirose, Sayaka Sembongi, Mariya Ise, and Asaka.

Romelia War Chronicle first debuted in August 2019 on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. Shogakukan publishes the print edition under the Gagaga Books imprint, with six volumes currently available. The series is written by Ryo Ariyama and illustrated by Kodama.
INTRODUCTION:
After a long and arduous journey, Romelia and her fiancé, Prince Henri, finally defeat the Demon King Zelgis. Yet, in a cruel twist of fate, Prince Henri coldly declares to her, “I am annulling our engagement.”
As Henri and the others revel in their victory, Romelia quietly sets off on a new journey. Her homeland lies devastated after years of war, and the lives of countless people have been stolen away by the demon race. Defeating the Demon King alone does not magically resolve the towering problems that remain.
Then I will reclaim a peaceful life for the people, my own way.
Raising an army, reviving the economy, and at times becoming entangled in dark conspiracies, Romelia never stops moving forward. However, each choice she makes brings new waves of conflict and calamity before her.
This is a story of what comes after the defeat of the Demon King—
a tale of rebirth, following one girl and the knights who stand beside her.
