The Japanese dub of the TV anime Wuliao Jiu Wanjie (from the donghua series) began airing on April 2. Additional cast members, key visuals, a promotional video, as well as information about the opening and ending theme songs have been revealed.
The opening theme, “Brand New Day,” will be performed by the rock band LEEVELLES, while the ending theme, “Dead or Love,” will be sung by singer/songwriter Soala.

Wuliao Jiu Wanjie premiered on the Chinese video platform Bilibili in July 2024. The story centers around Mocha, a regular office worker who leads a dull life—until she becomes infected by an alien parasite that will cause her to literally die from boredom. Despite the life-threatening situation, she continues to go to work. However, Yasen, a bumbling alien superhero, is determined to do whatever it takes to save her.
