New character PV for the TV anime Magical Explorer: Reborn as a Side Character in a Fantasy Dating Sim has been released. The new video focuses on Ludie, voiced by Ai Kakuma. The anime is set to premiere in Japan on October 3, 2026 on Crunchyroll.

The original novel, Magical Explorer: Reborn as a Side Character in a Fantasy Dating Sim, first appeared on Shosetsuka ni Naro in February 2018. A print version is published in Japan by Kadokawa Shoten under the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko label, with 12 volumes available so far.
An English version of the light novel and its manga adaptation is published by Yen Press. The manga features artwork by Yukari Higa:
