Toilet-bound Hanako-kun Season 2, based on Aidairo‘s original work, will premiere on January 2025 and air every Sunday. At the same time, it was also announced that all four episodes of the sequel to the short anime “After-school Hanako-kun” will be aired on October 7.
Along with the release of this information, the teaser PV of Season 2 and teaser PV of the sequel short anime have been revealed. Yohei Fukui as the new director of the main series. Studio Lerche remains responsible for producing the animation.

The original manga written by Aidairo is published in Square Enix’s Monthly GFantasy in Japan, and began in June 2014. Yen Press releasing the English version of the manga series. Toilet-bound Hanako-kun Season 1 directing by Masaomi Ando, Yasuhiro Nakanishi on series composition, Mayuka Itou on character designs, with animation production at Lerche.
