Shoes go Sage Mode with this “Naruto Shippuden x ASICS” kicks!

Wear Naruto on your feet!

Naruto fans! Have you ever looked at your shoes and thought they weren’t Naruto enough for your taste? TV host, sneaker and manga enthusiast Sébastien Abdelhamid unveils a new collab with asics (Japanese brand) and the Naruto Shippuden franchise, based on Masashi Kishimoto‘s famous Naruto manga! You won’t want to scuff these.

The partners present the asics GEL-NYC sneaker, inspired by the “Pain Arc” and Naruto in sage mode, one of the cult manga’s key storylines.

Naruto Shippuden x asics GEL-NYC:

The sneaker is black, with red accents reminiscent of the flames emanating from his cape. Other fan-favorite details include the scroll-shaped lace lock, the two-tone black/orange laces, the outsole featuring the bright color gradient seen on the upper, the Konoha village emblem on the metallic silver dubrae, the Uzumaki family logo on the tongue and the Kyubi tailed demon’s claw on the back of the heel.

Official visual of Naruto wearing the sneaker:

Sébastien Abdelhamid has declared: “This asics GEL-NYC embodies the quintessential values of Naruto: courage, self-sacrifice, friendship and dedication. My aim is to tell a story through this collaboration where everyone finds their own way to progress every day.”
