The upcoming TV anime Sentenced to Be a Hero: The Prison Records of Penal Hero Unit has announced additional cast members. Shizuka Ishigami will voice Patausche Kivia, Shun Horie will play Dotta Luzuras, and Shunichi Toki will take on the role of Venetim Leopool.
All five main voice actors will appear at the series’ AnimeJapan 2025 stage event on Sunday, March 23. The anime is set to air later this year..
The light novel series Sentenced to Be a Hero debuted in 2021 and has since amassed five volumes as of August 2023. Published by KADOKAWA under the Dengeki no Shibungei label, the series features illustrations by MEPHISTO.

Those sentenced to the fate of a hero are forced to fight on the front lines against deadly centers of contagion that rot the land and turn its creatures into roving armies of violent beasts.
