The light novel series Kochira, Shuumatsu Teitai Iinkai has been announced to be receiving an anime adaptation. A short teaser was released alongside the announcement.
At the time of writing, no further details about the anime, including its cast, staff, or release date, have been revealed.
Written by Kien Aien and illustrated by Ogipote, the light novel series is published by ASCII Media Works under the Dengeki Bunko imprint. Six volumes have been released in Japan so far.
The story follows Kotoha Kotoyorozu, a former mafia lackey who is reincarnated in another world after his death. Hoping to live an ordinary high school life, he instead becomes involved with the Apocalypse Stagnation Committee, a group of girls determined to prevent the end of the world by fighting bizarre creatures and other threats with massive guns.
