Rurouni Kenshin Season 2 Reveals 2nd Key Visual & New Trailer!

Overcome the Bloodshed!

The second season of the TV anime Rurouni Kenshin, titled “Kyoto Disturbance,” is set to premiere on October 3. During the Aniplex Online Fest 2024 event, held on September 16, new details were revealed, including a new key visual, trailer and the announcement of additional cast members.

The opening theme song is “Chained” by Tatsuya Kitani x natori and the ending theme is “suikousetten” by NOLEMON NOLEMON.

The first season of Rurouni Kenshin premiered in July and ran for two consecutive cours and will stream on Crunchyroll. VIZ Media describes the Rurouni Kenshin manga as:

One hundred and forty years ago in Kyoto, with he coming of the American “Black Ships,” there arose a warrior who, felling men with his bloodstained blade, gained the name Hitokiri, manslayer! His killer blade helped close the turbulent Bakumatsu era and slashed open the progressive age known as Meiji. Then he vanished, and with the flow of years, became legend.
