Netflix reveals a trailer for Parasyte: The Grey, a live-action Korean adaptation based on the legendary manga “Parasyte” by Hitoshi Iwaaki, has been unveiled.

Official Teaser:

Parasyte: The Grey is scheduled for April 5 on Netflix! The live-action is produced by Climax Studio and Wow Point. Directed by Yeon Sang-ho (Hellbound, Train to Busan) and starring Jeon So-nee, Koo Kyo-hwan, and Lee Jung-hyun.

Additionally, a spin-off called Parasyte Reversi ran from 2018 to 2021, spanning eight tankoubon volumes. This original manga served as the inspiration for a TV anime adaptation directed by Kenichi Shimizu and produced by Madhouse, which aired from 2014 to 2015, totaling 24 episodes.

Netflix describes Parasyte: The Grey as follows:

When unidentified parasites violently take over human hosts and gain power, humanity must rise to combat the growing threat.
