The TV anime “mono,” inspired by Afro‘s original work, is set to air in 2025. During the Aniplex Online Fest 2024, held today, September 16, the character designs for the protagonist, Satsuki Amamiya, and the cast details has been unveiled.

Since 2017, the manga has been featured in Yoshibunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat anthology, with three compiled volumes already available. A fourth volume is anticipated for release in late April in Japan.
The story revolves around a group of high school girls who are members of the Cinephoto Club, located in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture. This unique club combines photography and video research, and the girls regularly use various camera equipment such as kites, action cameras, and drones to capture moments in their city and prefecture.
