The upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom anime sequel movie, set to premiere in Japan on January 26, 2024, has unveiled its new trailer, main visual and main theme song ! The main visual features Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne at the center, with Athrun Zala and Shin Asuka in a corner. The theme song for the upcoming anime sequel movie is FREEDOM by Takanori Nishikawa with t.komuro. Additionally, the fourth promotional video is including the theme song as part of the video content.

The film takes place in the 75th year of Mobile Suit Gundam Seed’s Cosmic Era timeline, following the Second Alliance-PLANT War in Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny. The original Seed series and its sequel, Seed Destiny, debuted in 2002 and 2004, respectively. Plans for a sequel movie were announced in 2006, and production was confirmed in 2021.

In Cosmic Era (C.E.) 70… “The tensions mounted between the Earth Alliance and the ZAFT Forces caused by the ‘Bloody Valentine’ tragedy have erupted into an all-out war.” The Earth Alliance’s mobile armor forces and tanks launch…mobile suits are destroyed one after another… “It seemed a foregone conclusion that the Earth Alliance, with its superior numbers, would be victorious. But this initial assessment proved to be false. Almost 11 months have passed since the conflict began, with no end in sight…”
