Renowned anime director and industry visionary Masaaki Yuasa has unveiled a new Tokyo-based animation studio, ame pippin, in partnership with Asmik Ace, Aniplex, and CoMix Wave Films.
The official website of ame pippin features the following message in English from Yuasa:
We are hoping that our new studio will be a place for new opportunities and a fresh creative environment.
As a collective, we will make steady progress, maintain quick turnarounds and flexibility, and foster joy in creativity.
The next chapter of film and media entertainment starts here!
Previously co-founded Science SARU with producer Eunyoung Choi in 2013, is known for his groundbreaking work on series like Devilman Crybaby as well as original films such as Ride Your Wave and Inu-Oh.
