Kyoto Animation to Reveal 2026 Projects at Upcoming Festival

New anime announcement coming soon!

At Kyoto Animation’s fan appreciation event “This Is What We Are Now!! – Meet the Worlds of KyoAni –“, the special stage “Kyoto Animation Festival 2026 New Work Announcement” will take place on October 25 at 2 p.m., where upcoming anime projects for 2026 will be revealed.

A lineup promotional video has also been released, featuring the participating works: CITY THE ANIMATION, the Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid series, the Sound! Euphonium series, the Free! series, the Tsurune series, the Violet Evergarden series, and Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions.

On October 25 and 26, “This Is What We Are Now!! – Meet the Worlds of KyoAni –” will take place at Miyako Messe exhibition hall in Kyoto.

Kyoto Animation has confirmed that Sound! Euphonium: The Final Movie will premiere in 2026, while also teasing the development of unannounced new titles. It was further revealed that both the main cast and staff of the upcoming project will appear on stage at the “Kyoto Animation Festival 2026 New Work Announcement Stage”.
