GINTAMA -Yoshiwara in Flames- Anime Film Unveils New Stills Ahead of Premiere

The iconic arc will return as a completely new adaptation!

BN Pictures has unveiled new stills from GINTAMA -Yoshiwara in Flames-, the upcoming film directed by Naoya Ando. The movie offers a brand-new animated adaptation of the beloved “Yoshiwara in Flames” arc from Gintama. The film is set to hit theaters across Japan on February 13.

The upcoming film project will revisit the manga’s “Yoshiwara in Flames” arc, which was previously adapted into eight episodes of the TV anime back in 2009.

The anime series concluded in 2018 after four seasons. In addition to the main series, several films were released, including Gintama: The Final in 2021, as well as a wave of Gintama on Theater 2D features cinematic re-edits of story arcs previously adapted for television.
