Dr.STONE Anime Celebrates its 5th Anniversary with Special Visual!

The TV anime adaptation of “Dr.STONE“, by Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi, began airing in Japan in July 2019 and is now celebrating its fifth anniversary. To mark this milestone, the anime’s official Twitter account posted a special visual drawn by Takashi Muratani, the sub-character designer and chief animation director.

The key visual features Senku, Mecha Senku, Ryusui, Chrome, Gen, Kohaku, Suika, Tsukasa, and Ukyo.

The 5th anniversary project also features the “Dr.STONE 2024 Ishi no Utage (Stone Festival)” event, set to take place on August 11 at the Tokyo International Forum Hall C.

Shortly after the conclusion of the second cour of Dr.STONE: New World, a fourth and final season, titled Dr.STONE: Science Future, was announced.

The season 1,2 and 3 and the RYUSUI special episode of Dr. STONE are streaming on Crunchyroll, who describes the plot of the series:
