Detective Conan Reveals Trailer for Collab Episode with Edogawa Ranpo!

A special collaborative episode celebrating the 130th anniversary of mystery author Ranpo Edogawa's birth.

The promotional video for the “Ranpotei Satsujin Jiken” (Rampo Mansion Murder Case) episode of the TV anime Case Closed, featuring a collaboration between Edogawa Ranpo and Conan Edogawa, has been released. Part 1 will air on Saturday, November 16, followed by Part 2 on November 23.

Gosho Aoyama‘s Detective Conan manga, known as Case Closed in English by Viz Media, debuted in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday in 1994. As of October 2024, the series spans 106 tankōbon volumes. The anime adaptation premiered in 1996, followed by the release of the first anime film in 1997.

The son of a world famous mystery writer, Shinichi Kudo, has achieved his own notoriety by assisting the local police as a student detective. He has always been able to solve the most difficult of criminal cases using his wits and power of reason.
