A TV anime adaptation of Dead Account, the manga by Shizuru Watanabe, has been officially announced. Nobuhiko Okamoto will voice the protagonist, Sogo Enoshiro. Additionally, Synergy SP has been confirmed as the production studio for the series.

Watanabe first launched the manga in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in January 2023 before it transitioned to Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket app in October of the same year. Kodansha is set to release the 10th volume on March 17, while its K MANGA service provides a digital English version of the series.
Dead Account is a modern exorcism battle-action story centered around Soji Enishiro, a former fiery streamer who lost his beloved sister. After awakening to a mysterious power that allows him to combat “ghost dirt”—digital remnants of the deceased lingering in unfinished accounts—Soji joins forces with his friends, a school for mediums, to confront these spectral threats.
