Pokémon Sleep has announced a special collaboration with the Pokémon Horizons anime to celebrate the game’s 3rd anniversary.
The in-game event will run from August 17–24 and will add Captain Pikachu, Tinkatink, and its Evolution line to Pokémon Sleep. Other Pokémon from the anime will also appear during the event. A new collaboration trailer has also been released.

As part of the collaboration, Professor Neroli from Pokémon Sleep will make a guest appearance in the August 21 episode of Pokémon Horizons in Japan. The character will be voiced by Natsuki Hanae.

The latest series, Pokémon Horizons: The Series, introduces the franchise’s first completely new protagonists and originally premiered in Japan on April 14, 2023. It is directed by Saori Den and produced by OLM.
Internationally, the series debuted in English in the UK on BBC iPlayer in December 2023, followed by its North American release on Netflix on March 7, 2024. Its second season, Pokémon Horizons: The Search for Laqua, premiered on Netflix on February 7, 2025. Season 3, titled Pokémon Horizons: Rising Hope, began streaming on January 6, 2026.
