The theme song for the live-action adaptation of Cells at Work! by Akane Shimizu has been announced as “50%” by Official HIGE DANdism. Along with this news, a trailer for the film has also been released. The movie is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters on December 13.

Fukase from SEKAI NO OWARI is taking on the role of the strongest enemy for the cells, but the character’s name hasn’t been revealed yet, adding an air of mystery to the role.
The film is directed by Hideki Takeuchi with a screenplay by Yuichi Tokunaga. Akane Shimizu’s Cells at Work! manga was serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine from January 2015 to January 2021 and released in six volumes. The TV anime adaptation aired for two seasons between 2018 and 2021.
