Tsukasa Hojo‘s CAT’S EYE is set to receive a new animated adaptation, slated for exclusive release on Disney+ in 2025.
This announcement was made today, November 21, during the “Disney Content Showcase 2024” at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

It has been announced that Ado will perform a cover of Anri‘s original theme song, “CAT’S EYE.” A special teaser featuring Ado’s rendition of the song has also been released.

Tsukasa Hojo‘s CAT’S EYE, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1981 to 1985, tells the story of the Kisugi sisters, who run the Cat’s Eye Café in Tokyo by day and operate as a skilled trio of art thieves by night. Their heists aim to recover pieces from their missing father’s art collection.
The first TV anime adaptation aired in two seasons: CAT’S EYE with 36 episodes from July 1983 to March 1984, followed by CAT’S EYE 2 with 37 episodes from October 1984 to July 1985.
