The second season of the TV anime Blue Orchestra, written by Makoto Akui, is set to air on NHK E-TV this fall, spanning a total of 21 episodes. Alongside this announcement, a teaser visual featuring Aono playing the violin has been unveiled.

This is the story of high-school student Hajime Aono, who grew up as a prize-winning violin prodigy and dominated most of the competitions he entered. Despite this, he gave up violin in his second year of middle school. One day, he met Ritsuko Akine, who inspired him to take up the violin again and join a high school with a well-known orchestra club. With the help of Akine and his new classmates, he learns to love the violin again.
