Sony and Shao Dow Team Up for the first year of God Of War: Ragnarök with BOY music!

Kratos and Atreus have got some serious dance skills!

It has been one year since the release of God Of War: Ragnarök, and Sony Santa Monica, the studio behind the game, is celebrating the occasion. They are teasing what Kratos and Atreus are doing for the occasion, and they’ve shared a fun video featuring UI Artists Andy Lang and Paul Calvert dancing to the song BOY from mashed, performed by Shao Dow Music.

mashed is a YouTube channel owned by Channel5, who make fun content around video games, using animation and music created especially by them. Their experience in creating music content is also reflected here, in the way BOY dresses up the video. The voice of BOY is Shao Dow, a Britannic rapper and mangaka (The Way Of Shao), who already worked with Epic Games for Fortnite.

Launched on November 9, 2022, for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, God of War: Ragnarök is the ninth installment in the popular God Of War series. It continues the storyline introduced in the 2018 God Of War, which revitalized the series by shifting its focus from Greek mythology to Norse mythology. Ragnarök has garnered significant acclaim from critics, boasting an impressive Metacritic score of 94%.

Synopsis of God Of War Ragnarok according to IGN:
Join Kratos and Atreus on a mythic journey for answers before Ragnarök arrives. Together, father and son must put everything on the line as they journey to each of the Nine Realms in God of War Ragnarök, the brutal and epic sequel in the action franchise.
