It has been one year since the release of God Of War: Ragnarök, and Sony Santa Monica, the studio behind the game, is celebrating the occasion. They are teasing what Kratos and Atreus are doing for the occasion, and they’ve shared a fun video featuring UI Artists Andy Lang and Paul Calvert dancing to the song BOY from mashed, performed by Shao Dow Music.
mashed is a YouTube channel owned by Channel5, who make fun content around video games, using animation and music created especially by them. Their experience in creating music content is also reflected here, in the way BOY dresses up the video. The voice of BOY is Shao Dow, a Britannic rapper and mangaka (The Way Of Shao), who already worked with Epic Games for Fortnite.
Launched on November 9, 2022, for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, God of War: Ragnarök is the ninth installment in the popular God Of War series. It continues the storyline introduced in the 2018 God Of War, which revitalized the series by shifting its focus from Greek mythology to Norse mythology. Ragnarök has garnered significant acclaim from critics, boasting an impressive Metacritic score of 94%.
