The YouTube anime “Koala’s Diary” by Yuami premiered its July Volume 1 release on July 2 at 8 PM. Alongside the launch, the fourth key visual, a promotional introduction video featuring that visual, and new details about the theme song have been revealed.
The fourth key visual, themed around summer, features newly illustrated artwork by character designer Chiharu Hara.
The opening theme for July to September will be “Niji to Yasashii Natsu ver.” by Punipunidenki featuring Kan Sano. This version is a Latin-inspired arrangement of “Niji to”, giving the track a warm, rhythmic summer feel. The song will be released digitally at midnight on July 3.

Koala’s Diary, available on its official YouTube channel, tells the gentle and heartwarming everyday story of koalas. The series originally began serialization on Yuami’s official X (formerly Twitter) account on June 11, 2021.
The anime adaptation is directed by Takao Kato, with character designs by Chiharu Hara, and produced by Studio MOTHER.
