I Was Reincarnated as the Heroine on the Verge of a Bad Ending, and I’m Determined to Fall in Love! will receive an anime adaptation. The company did not share details about the release date or format.

Illustrator Sake Kumanomi, who has created the novel’s illustrations since volume three, shared a special celebratory drawing on their official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Kotoko has been publishing the original version of I Was Reincarnated as the Heroine on the Verge of a Bad Ending, and I’m Determined to Fall in Love! on Shōsetsuka ni Narō since April 2021. TO Books began releasing the light novel in print in January 2020, followed by a manga adaptation illustrated by Ikuto Nanse in December 2022.
The series has surpassed 1.4 million copies in circulation, including digital editions. Volume 10 of the novel and Volume 8 of the manga will be released simultaneously on March 1.
TOKYOPOP publishes the English version of the manga:
