A teaser promotional video for the TV anime So What’s Wrong with Getting Reborn as a Goblin?, based on the works of Nazuna Miki and Tsukasa Araki, has been released. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October.

To celebrate the adaptation, a special stage event will take place on March 29 at the Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures booth during AnimeJapan 2026. Voice actors Toya, Hikasa, and Tachibana will attend and participate in a talk show.
Additionally, visitors to the Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures booth on March 28 and 29 will be able to receive free Akira masks, while supplies last.

The manga series has currently reached 14 volumes in Japan. It is published in English by Yen Press, which describes the story as follows:
