Hono no Tokyujo: Dodge Danko Anime Unveils Ending Theme Artist and Cast Update

The ending theme for the TV anime Hono no Tokyujo: Dodge Danko, directed by Tetsuhiro Koshita, has been announced as “Welcome to Azatosa World” by i☆Ris. It was also revealed that Yuki Wakai will voice the character Peiko Nikaido. The anime is scheduled to premiere in July.

A special pre-screening event for episodes 1 and 2 will take place on June 21 at Shinjuku Balto 9 in Tokyo. The event will feature appearances from the main cast, and attendees will receive a B2 poster as a gift. Ticket sales will run from May 11 at 12:00 p.m. to June 5 at 12:00 p.m., with advance reservations available through Ticket Pia.

The original Hono no Tokyuji: Dodge Danpei was a manga series that ran in Shogakukan’s CoroCoro Comic magazine from 1989 to 1995. It was later adapted into a 47-episode anime series, which aired starting in October 1991. The franchise also inspired several video games.

A sequel manga, titled Dodge Danpei: Dodge Danko, has been published online on the Weekly CoroCoro Comic website since November 2022.
