AMC Global Media has announced a new multi-year content deal between HIDIVE and Japan’s Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS), marking the largest programming agreement in HIDIVE’s history.
Under the new agreement, HIDIVE will exclusively distribute MBS’ upcoming anime titles worldwide outside of Asia. The series will be simulcast on HIDIVE in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and other international markets.
The first title under the new deal will be Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden, which will premiere in North America at Anime NYC 2026 on August 21 at 4:00 PM ET. The series is scheduled to debut in Japan in October 2026 and will be part of HIDIVE’s Fall 2026 simulcast lineup.

The series, created by Umikaze Minamino with illustrations by JISHAKU and Katana Canata, has surpassed 1.8 million copies in circulation. The official English edition of the light novels is published by J-Novel Club, which describes the story as follows:
