A new collaboration video between GIRLS und PANZER das Finale and The End of Oak Street has been released ahead of the film’s Japanese theatrical debut. In the nearly three-minute video, Saori and Miho watch footage from the movie, with Saori reacting in shock while Miho calmly comes up with ways to fight the ancient creatures.

The End of Oak Street is directed by David Robert Mitchell (It Follows) and stars Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor. The film follows a family whose suburban street is mysteriously transported to a world filled with prehistoric monsters. The film premiered on August 14 in both the United States and Japan.
GIRLS und PANZER das Finale Part 5 is directed by Tsutomu Mizushima at ACTAS, with a script by Reiko Yoshida and character designs by Fumikane Shimada and Isao Sugimoto.
GIRLS und PANZER first debuted as a TV anime in 2012, followed by the feature film GIRLS und PANZER der Film in 2015. The Das Finale project has been rolling out gradually in Japanese theaters: Part 1 premiered in December 2017, Part 2 in June 2019, Part 3 in March 2021, and Part 4 in October 2023. Part 5 will continue the long-running cinematic saga as it moves closer to its conclusion.
Sentai Filmworks distributes GIRLS und PANZER das Finale on home video in the United States, and describes the story as follows:
The tank-crazy girls of Oorai Academy are shell-shocked when Momo’s preoccupation with locating new tanks for the upcoming Caterpillar Tread Cup causes her to fail her college entrance exams! However, the diabolical minds of Miho and the Oorai teams concoct an uber-crafty battle plan to give Momo a second chance at her exams. The catch? They’ll have to promote Momo to the position of overall commander while Miho steps down to vice commander! With Oorai’s greatest challenge coming up, it’s a terrible time to break in a new general, and that’s only the first bombshell in a new series of barrages. Can duplicitous rivals, ridiculous contests and a maid-mad gang of juvenile delinquents stop Oorai’s mechanized path to victory?
