The TV anime adaptation of Even the Student Council Has Its Holes!, based on the original manga by Muchimaro, is set to premiere this October.
Alongside the announcement, it was revealed that Shogo Sakata will voice the protagonist, Ume Mizunoe. A new character promotional video and a character visual for Ume have also been unveiled.

The manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2022. The 12th volume is scheduled for release in Japan on March 17, 2026. The series is published by Kodansha. The series also won first place in the print manga category at the Next Manga Awards in 2023.
