During its Anime Expo 2024 industry panel, Crunchyroll announced that the highly anticipated BLUE LOCK Season 2 anime will stream on the platform starting in October 2024, coinciding with its premiere in Japan.

The anime is based on the award-winning manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura. BLUELOCK is directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe and assistant-directed by Shunsuke Ishikawa at studio eightbit.
